Everything went according to plan in Inchon where fifth rankedKoGas (19-16) edged 9th ranked Samsung Thunders (11-23) 72-69 on Sunday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Filipino guard Samjosef Belangel (177-1999) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four KoGas players scored in double figures. KoGas' coach Yoo Hoon used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) produced 22 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized American guard Justin Gutang (191-1997, college: Skyline JC) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for lost side. KoGas maintains fifth place with 19-16 record. Seoul Thunders lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 23 games lost.
